About Sellma

What drives us

We will radically simplify worldwide trade in used heavy machinery.

We aim on utilizing latest technology to reduce global CO2 emissions and support the ‚German Climate Action Plan’.

The digital world is getting hold of almost all areas of life. Paper maps have been replaced by Google Maps, Pocket Calculators by Apps. To order products and services online today and to receive them tomorrow is a matter of course for us. In short, everything that can be digitally imaged is digitized.

This development presents fundamental challenges in many markets. It requires the use of new technologies, additional skills, and other approaches. We believe, however, that this development is above all a great opportunity.

The increasing degree of networking now makes it easier for us to access global markets and global trade. The availability of information today enables us to do business at a faster pace and with more transparency than ever before.

We combine these two aspects and make them profitable for our customers. Our mission is to support the worldwide trade in used heavy machinery, to simplify and modernize it to maximum effect.

What moves us

Utilize latest technology to contribute to a smarter planet.

Global climate change is one of the most urgent problems of our time. Its core driver is the tremendous CO2 emission, caused by mankind. Society and industries will face huge challenges to get control of the situation. We believe that it’s time to start tackling it.

The ‘German Climate Action Plan 2050’ targets a CO2 reduction for 2030 of 50% for the sectors industry and transport. Where industrial emissions cannot be avoided, its about reducing them via new processes and replacement by new technology.

State of the art engineering has shaped a new generation of highly efficient machines, coming with fuel saving engines that work way more environmentally friendly. With double fuel efficiency, reduce CO2 emission about 50%, lower nitrogen oxides down to 10% and particulate emissions down to 5% compared to conventional technology.

We believe that it’s time for all of us to rely on modern, more environmentally friendly and low-emission technology. Sellma creates with attractive conditions incentives to sell used European machines globally. Thereby they become in reach even beyond of European market circuits – where globally back in operation they replace strongly outdated technology.

Every used unit successfully brought to market in developing countries with low technological standard, is replaced by a highly efficient machine on the seller’s side in Europe. Simultaneously with every imported newer machine, a strongly outdated the ‘Smoke Stack’ unit is recycled in the melting pot.
